About the Artist
My work is a statement about my experiences. A compilation of my beliefs and understanding of the world around me. My paintings are my means of conversation.
I enjoy my work, more than that, the work enjoys me. In a world of multiple role models and masks which we so comfortably wear and discard, I have found my home, where I don’ t need any ‘face’ to make me comfortable. Painting, to me is coming home.
I have had solos and group shows in a few places in Mumbai. My works are in private collections all over the world. NASEOH has a mural which I have painted for their Multiple Disability Unit, and a painting was auctioned for the cause of raising funds for homeless people through Habitat for Humanity.
